This interim Head of HR role, requires the successful candidate to provide HR support, covering employee relations, engagement, development and recruitment in support of company values and business objectives. This is a 3 month (Inside IR35) contract role that requires an immediate/asap start. The ideal candidate will enjoy a fast paced vibrant environment as well as being data driven, detail-oriented, service-focused, curious and adaptive. To be successful in the role you must be passionate about providing excellent customer service by building partnerships and being responsive to the needs of our teams and leadership.
Key Duties:
- Partner with the broader HR Team to provide strategic and tactical HR support, ensuring alignment with business and corporate direction, strategic initiatives, and human resources best practices. (e.g., talent recruitment, development, and training; engagement; succession planning; performance management; legal/regulatory compliance; compensation, safety and benefit policies and practices).
- Educate, support, and follow up with leaders and managers regarding execution of human resources policies, processes and initiatives, and handling employee relations issues.
- Oversee employee relations investigations, interviews, documentation and follow up, supporting the administration of appropriate follow up.
- Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to leadership and facilitate escalation, as needed.
- Provide operational support to leaders and managers as needed with all human resources related functions.
- Provide data analysis and reporting based on business needs.
- Support in handling HR administrative data transactions and processes in support of the business.
- Administer human resources policies and procedures, with attention to confidentiality, timeliness, privacy, and fairness.
- Establish best practices with HR team to develop and coordinate programme and events.
- Line manage the UK HR team
Key Requirements:
- Proven human resources and partnering experience with a successful track record
- Human resources experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
- Proficient with Microsoft office products, Excel, Word, PowerPoint
- Highly analytical with a demonstrated ability to manage data and metrics to support performance
- Demonstrated knowledge employment law
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels of the organisation
