Summary: The Head of FP&A role is a senior leadership position responsible for guiding a finance function through transformation and strategic delivery within a large organization. This hybrid role involves close collaboration with executive stakeholders to enhance financial performance and reporting capabilities. The successful candidate will lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis while managing a high-performing finance team. This position is offered on a 12-month fixed-term contract basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning, budgeting and forecasting cycles, ensuring high-quality, insight-driven outputs that support strategic objectives
- Oversee the production of timely and accurate management reporting, including performance analysis, risk assessment and forward-looking forecasts
- Develop and enhance financial modelling to evaluate strategic initiatives, investment decisions and long-term plans
- Drive continuous improvement across reporting processes, systems and controls to increase efficiency and value-add
- Manage and develop a team across finance business partnering, reporting and analysis functions
- Provide clear, concise financial insight and recommendations to senior leadership to support decision-making
- Ensure delivery of external and regulatory reporting requirements where applicable
Key Skills:
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)
- Proven experience operating in a senior FP&A or financial leadership capacity within a large, complex organisation
- Strong track record of leading budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning processes
- Advanced analytical and financial modelling skills, with the ability to translate complex data into meaningful insight
- Demonstrated experience managing and developing high-performing finance teams
- Confident communicator, with the ability to influence and challenge senior stakeholders
- Experience of driving process improvement and enhancing reporting frameworks

We're supporting a large, complex organisation in the appointment of an experienced Interim Head of FP&A to lead a high-performing finance function through a period of transformation and strategic delivery.
