Summary: The Head of Finance Shared Services role in Liverpool is a high-profile leadership position focused on driving operational excellence during a critical finance transformation period. The successful candidate will lead a substantial transformation program across finance shared services, emphasizing process improvement, system implementation, and stakeholder relationship management. Key Responsibilities:
- Developing and leading high-performing teams through change

- Centralising billing processes across multiple revenue streams
- Improving controls, efficiency and service delivery

Key Skills:
- Significant experience leading finance shared services or operational finance functions
- Proven success delivering transformation and change programmes
- Strong experience implementing finance systems and automation solutions
- Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
- The ability to lead, coach and develop teams through periods of change
- A pragmatic, hands-on approach with a strong delivery focus
- Strong communication and influencing capability
- Shared services experience across Billing, Credit Control and/or Accounts Payable environments
- Accounting qualification desirable but not essential

This is a high-profile leadership role focused on driving operational excellence across Billing, Credit Control and Accounts Payable functions, while leading the delivery of significant process, systems and organisational improvements. The successful candidate will play a key role in modernising finance operations, improving efficiency and embedding a more centralised, technology-enabled shared services model.
