Summary: The Head of Finance will lead the implementation of the Paprika finance system within a fast-growing international consultancy in the media and marketing sector. This newly created role involves modernizing the finance function and ensuring effective system transitions across various geographies. The position requires collaboration with both finance and non-finance teams to enhance operational efficiencies and reporting capabilities. The role is critical for driving finance transformation and process improvements within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the full lifecycle Paprika implementation for the UK business
  • Lead the wider finance system transition to ensure effective implementation across all geographies
  • Work closely with both Finance and non-Finance teams to deliver a successful implementation
  • Act as the key point of contact for post-implementation support across local Finance teams
  • Partner with the Finance Director to improve GL structures, reporting capabilities, and overall finance efficiencies
  • Work closely with the Group Financial Controller and wider operational stakeholders impacted by the implementation
  • Deliver broader finance transformation and process improvement projects across the function
  • Review and improve global finance processes to ensure consistency and streamlined reporting
  • Drive improvements across month-end processes, reconciliations, controls, and management reporting
  • Support and develop a junior finance team, including oversight of balance sheet review and clean-up work
  • Work with local Finance teams to implement a robust balance sheet review process
  • Identify key risks and opportunities across local balance sheets
  • Review working capital cycles and partner with local teams to design and implement effective cash management processes and controls

Key Skills:

  • ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified, or a strong QBE profile
  • Previous experience leading or playing a key role in finance systems implementations
  • Strong operational finance, controls, and process improvement background
  • Hands-on, proactive, and comfortable operating within a fast-paced, growing business environment
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Experience within media, consultancy, marketing, professional services, or project-based environments would be advantageous

Head of Finance Finance Systems Implementation London | Hybrid Working (3 days in office) £90,000 – £100,000, 6 Month FTC We’re partnering with a fast-growing international consultancy and advisory business operating within the media and marketing space to appoint a Head of Finance into a newly created and highly visible role. Reporting directly to the Finance Director, this position will play a critical role in modernising the finance function, with the headline project being the end-to-end implementation of Paprika across the UK operation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Finance Systems Implementation & Transformation
  • Lead the full lifecycle Paprika implementation for the UK business
  • Lead the wider finance system transition to ensure effective implementation across all geographies
