Summary: The Head of Finance role at a global organization in Woking involves managing a team of six and reporting to the Group Finance Director. Key Responsibilities:

  • Own monthly management accounts, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow reporting
  • Lead, develop, and motivate the finance team
  • Deliver insightful variance analysis and performance commentary
  • Partner with senior stakeholders to support decision-making and business objectives
  • Lead year-end reporting and manage audit processes
  • Ensure statutory compliance and strong financial controls
  • Drive improvements in systems, processes, and reporting
  • Support business planning, including assisting with any M&A activity

Key Skills:

  • Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
  • Strong team leadership experience is essential for this role
  • Strong commercial acumen and Excel skills
  • Confident communicator, able to influence at all levels
  • Calm, collaborative, and effective in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience using Microsoft Business Central would be advantageous

Robert Walters are pleased to have partnered with a global organisation, based in Woking who are looking to hire a Head of Finance on an initial 6-month fixed term basis.

Managing a team of 6, and reporting into the Group Finance Director, this Head if Finance will lead a high performing divisional team and ensure the financial integrity of the business unit. This role will provide high-quality financial insight to the wider business, and also be responsible for driving process improvements where appropriate.
