Summary: The Head of Finance will lead the financial operations within a property services team, managing a substantial budget of £100 million. This role requires close collaboration with senior stakeholders to provide strategic financial guidance and ensure compliance with accounting standards. The ideal candidate will possess significant experience in senior finance roles within complex organizations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver timely and accurate financial and management reporting to key stakeholders.
- Oversee the production of statutory accounts and ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Provide strategic financial input to senior leadership and board members.
- Lead analytical reviews and financial planning to shape operational decision-making.
- Drive robust cost control and optimise financial performance across Property Services.
- Lead and develop the finance team to meet business needs and foster a high-performance culture.
- Contribute to change management and transformation programmes across the Group.
Key Skills:
- ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified accountant with significant post-qualification experience.
- Proven experience in a senior finance leadership role within a large, complex, and commercially driven organisation.
- Strong business partnering capabilities – able to translate complex financials into actionable insights for non-financial stakeholders.
