Summary: The Head of eCommerce for a luxury wellness brand is a pivotal role focused on leading a talented team and overseeing the global online trading strategy. This position is a 12-month fixed-term contract, starting at the end of August, and is based in Central London with hybrid working arrangements. The successful candidate will report to the Global Marketing Director and will be responsible for driving profitability and optimizing the customer journey across multiple markets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the trading calendar and objectives for UK, INTL and US websites
  • Monitor key metrics, analyze sales data to identify and act on trends and opportunities on site
  • Manage the ecommerce budget, forecasting revenue and expenses in line with internal finance timelines
  • Make strategic decisions to optimize profitability and return on investment
  • Work closely with marketing, technical & design leads to ensure optimized customer journey and correct functionality across all sites
  • Collaborate with commercial and product teams to understand and influence NPD roadmap, estimate volumes & develop launch plans
  • Work closely with Operations function to ensure inventory levels sufficient to meet online demand
  • Set, monitor and report on marketing channel performance

Key Skills:

  • Ability to think strategically and make decisions ideally within beauty/luxury fashion or quality consumer brand
  • 5+ years’ experience as an eCommerce Trading Manager in a direct to consumer eCommerce brand, ideally with experience across the UK and USA
  • Able to work in a high-performance environment and deliver against challenging deadlines
  • Willingness to learn new approaches and adapt to different working styles
  • Proven track record as a commercial individual, who understands brand and customers
  • Independent and self-directed but able to work and lead a team
  • A quick learner who can process lots of information and prioritize

Reporting into the Global Marketing Director you will be responsible for overseeing the development and execution of the Online trading strategy globally. Responsibilities:
