Interim Head of Compliance (SMF 16 & 17)Our fast growing FinTech client are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Compliance to join our leadership team. This pivotal role oversees the management and strategic direction of key compliance functions, including:Key Responsibilities:Compliance Risk Management: Ensuring adherence to relevant laws, rules, and regulations to mitigate non-compliance risks.Conduct Risk: Managing the risk of unfair customer outcomes and ensuring ethical practices.Financial Crime Risk: Safeguarding the organization from criminal conduct, including fraud, market misconduct, money laundering, and terrorism financing.As the Head of Compliance, you will be expected to:Act with integrity, skill, care, and diligence in all your actions.Foster open, cooperative relationships with regulators such as the FCA and PRA.Ensure customer interests are prioritized and market standards are upheld.Focus on delivering positive outcomes for retail customers.Senior Manager Conduct Rules (SMF 16 & 17) Responsibilities:Ensure the firm is controlled and operates effectively (SC1).Guarantee compliance with regulatory requirements and standards (SC2).Manage the delegation of responsibilities and oversee their discharge effectively (SC3).Appropriately disclose any relevant information to regulatory bodies (SC4).Leadership and Expertise:Provide thought leadership and management in compliance and conduct risk.Offer expert guidance to support decision-making and act as an independent decision-maker in your area of expertise.Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including the Board, Executive Committee, and various teams, while maintaining strong external relationships with industry regulators, partners, and professional bodies.Qualifications and Experience:Proven track record in compliance, risk management, and financial crime prevention.Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks, particularly FCA and PRA guidelines.Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.If you are interested please send CV to joflynn@nscg.com
