Communications Lead

Immediate Start / Location – Manchester

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced communications professional to lead a busy communications function within a large and complex organisation.

This strategic role will be responsible for overseeing a broad range of internal and external communications activities, ensuring clear, engaging and effective messaging across diverse audiences.

Working closely with senior stakeholders, you will provide expert communications advice, lead key projects and help enhance organisational engagement and reputation.

Leading a communications team, you will drive the development and delivery of communication strategies, support organisational change initiatives and ensure communications activities align with wider business objectives.

About You

• Significant experience in a senior communications leadership role within a public sector background
• Strong background in internal and external communications
• Proven experience developing and delivering communication strategies
• Experience managing and motivating teams
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
• Ability to provide trusted advice to senior leaders
• Experience managing sensitive and complex communications issues
