Summary: The Head of CBS (Sales to Cash) will lead the end-to-end sales-to-cash process, focusing on standardization and efficiency in billing, collections, and cash application. This role requires strategic direction and operational leadership, managing a team of approximately 60 colleagues while ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. The position involves interaction with senior financial leaders and participation in the leadership team to establish organizational strategies. The role is based in Manchester with a hybrid working arrangement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive standardisation and consistency in billing, collections, cash application, reporting, bank reconciliations and Treasury back-office.
- Lead the end-to-end sales-to-cash process, providing strategic direction and operational leadership for all S2C initiatives.
- Manage key metrics to ensure compliance with regulations or service level agreements, KPIs, and benchmarks against industry leaders.
- Interact with senior financial leaders and Exec regarding matters related to working capital.
- Provide overall leadership for approximately 60 colleagues for planning, staffing, goal setting, budgeting, and implementing new processes and policies.
Key Skills:
- Experience leading large teams of 30-50+.
- Experience leading a team through an ERP implementation (SAP desirable).
- Experience leading a department of Auditor Cash and involvement in an ERP Implementation (Oracle/SAP).
- A finance background, though not necessarily an accounting qualification.
