Location: 2-3 days in Bristol

We are seeking a visionary Head of Business Systems to lead the end-to-end transformation and performance of our core enterprise estate. This is a high-impact leadership role accountable for modernising our ERP environment (Microsoft Dynamics Business Central), establishing a governed enterprise data platform (Microsoft Fabric), and scaling our technology delivery model. Operating at the intersection of technology and commercial strategy, you will lead a multi-disciplinary team of Engineering Managers, Architects, and Analysts to ensure our systems are scalable, efficient, and ready to support emerging AI capabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Roadmap: Define and execute a multi-year strategy to "simplify and standardise" the systems landscape, reducing technical debt and fragmentation.
  • ERP Transformation: Act as the primary lead for a major Business Central upgrade, moving the organisation away from legacy customisations toward best-practice standard functionality.
  • Data & AI Foundations: Delivery of an enterprise data strategy centred on Microsoft Fabric, ensuring data quality and governance to enable advanced analytics and AI use cases.
  • Engineering Leadership: Provide direction to Engineering Managers and Architects, fostering high standards in software engineering, QA, and release management.
  • Demand & Governance: Own the demand management process, partnering with senior stakeholders in Finance, Operations, and Supply Chain to prioritise high-value initiatives.

Essential Experience:
