Lecturer – HE Design

• Salary: £38-£40 per hour (PAYE), £42-£45 per hour (Umbrella)
• Start Date: ASAP

We are seeking a Lecturer for our HE Design course, focusing on interdisciplinary design. This role is based at our campus in East Sussex and offers a dynamic teaching environment where you can bring your expertise in graphics, 3D design, multimedia, web design, motion graphics, photography, and fashion to enthusiastic students through studio sessions and live briefs.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Conduct engaging studio sessions covering various aspects of design such as graphics, 3D design, multimedia, and more.
• Prepare and deliver lectures and coursework that reflect current trends and practices in the design industry.
• Assess student work and provide constructive feedback to foster their professional growth.
• Collaborate with faculty members to enhance interdisciplinary learning experiences.
• Participate in curriculum development and update course materials as needed.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Design or a closely related field; Master’s preferred.
• Proven experience in teaching at the higher education level.
• Strong portfolio showcasing expertise in multiple design disciplines such as graphic design, 3D design, multimedia, etc.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to inspire and motivate students.
• Proficient in the latest design software and technologies.
