Summary: The role of HDD and Outfall Lead involves managing HDD subcontractors and overseeing project documentation and reporting for the NZT NEP Project. The position requires supervision of site work, including mobilization and testing, and necessitates proven experience in HDD construction. The contract is for 12 months and is classified as outside IR35. The role is based in Redcar with occasional trips to the London office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project management of HDD subcontractors, including coordination of project progress meetings, technical review meetings, risk assessments, and readiness review meetings.
- Review and coordinate subcontractor design documentation, installation procedures, and final as-builts in line with project requirements.
- Prepare project operation reporting for each scope and for installation engineering periodic meetings.
- Interface with all disciplines (HSE, QC, Draughting, Engineering) and other subcontractors.
- Supervise all HDD site work from mobilization, equipment installation, execution, testing, and demobilization both onshore and offshore.
Key Skills:
- Proven experience in HDD (horizontal directional drilling) construction.
- Knowledge of diving support works is beneficial.
- Education/Certification: OGUK Medical.

- Project management of HDD subcontractors: coordination of project progress meetings, technical review meetings, risk assessments, readiness review meetings
