Summary: The HDD and Outfall Lead position involves managing HDD subcontractors and overseeing project documentation and reporting for the NZT NEP Project. The role requires supervising site work and interfacing with various disciplines to ensure project success. This is a 12-month contract based in Redcar, with occasional trips to London. The position is classified as outside IR35.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project management of HDD subcontractors, including coordination of project progress meetings and risk assessments.
- Review and coordinate subcontractor design documentation and installation procedures.
- Prepare project operation reporting for installation engineering periodic meetings.
- Interface with all disciplines including HSE, QC, Draughting, and Engineering.
- Supervise all HDD site work from mobilisation to demobilisation both onshore and offshore.
Key Skills:
- Proven experience in HDD (horizontal directional drilling) construction.
- Knowledge of diving support works is beneficial.
- Education/Certification: OGUK Medical.

How can you support us? Here are below your responsibilities:
- Project management of HDD subcontractors: coordination of project progress meetings, technical review meetings, risk assessments, readiness review meetings
- Documentation: Review and coordinate subcontractor design documentation, installation procedures and final as-builts in line with project requirements
- Reporting: Project operation reporting for each scope. Prepare the reporting for the installation engineering periodic meetings
- Interface: Interface with all discipline (HSE, QC, Draughting, Engineering,) Company and other Subcontractors
- Site Work: Supervise all HDD site work from mobilisation, equipment installation, execution, testing and demobilisation both onshore and offshore
Experience: Proven experience in HDD (horizonal directional drilling) construction
Knowledge of diving support works beneficial
Education / Certification: OGUK Medical
