Summary: The Hardware Test Engineer role focuses on supporting Power Electronics Development and testing for an aerospace client involved in next-generation satellite electronics. The position requires a combination of onsite and remote work, emphasizing hands-on development of automated test processes and electronics design. The role is classified as outside IR35 and is initially for a six-month contract. Candidates should be prepared to work with various testing equipment and have experience in RF circuitry or MIL/DO standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support Power Electronics Development and testing efforts.
- Develop new automated test processes.
- Conduct testing and development of Power Electronics.
- Utilize equipment such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and power supplies.
- Work on EMC, ESD, MOSFET, GAN, SMPS Design, and Gate Driver experience.
- Engage in electronics design and basic circuitry testing.
- Collaborate primarily onsite at the Henley innovation center with remote work when feasible.
Key Skills:
- Experience in Power Electronics Development.
- Knowledge of EMC, ESD, MOSFET, GAN, and SMPS Design.
- Hands-on experience with testing equipment (oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, etc.).
