Summary: The Hardware Test Engineer role involves supporting hardware design, development, and testing activities at CEI, focusing on hands-on validation, debugging, and RF testing. This is a contract position classified as inside IR35, based in Brentwood.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform hardware test, verification, and validation on embedded and electronic systems.
- Review and interpret schematics, PCB layouts, and engineering documentation.
- Carry out RF testing, including Wi-Fi and Bluetooth performance checks.
- Use lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analysers, and multimeters for troubleshooting.
- Document test results clearly and maintain accurate technical records.
- Work with software, project management, and cross-functional engineering teams.
- Support onsite and offsite test activities as needed.
