Summary: This role is for a motivated and experienced nurse to work in a dynamic chemotherapy setting, providing specialized care for patients with haematological conditions across Mid and South Wales. The position offers opportunities for clinical and professional development within a supportive team environment. The role is fixed-term for one year due to maternity cover and includes a comprehensive training package. Welsh language skills are desirable but not mandatory for applicants.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized nursing care for patients with haematological disorders.
- Support patients participating in clinical trials and those undergoing high dose chemotherapy and bone marrow transplants.
- Rotate between Day-care in UHW, UHL, and Offsite Nurse-Led Chemotherapy Service.
- Participate in the Haematology Ward and Transplant Unit, and Haemophilia centre as needed.
- Engage in a 4-week supernumerary period and comprehensive training.
