Summary: The H&S Manager Housing role in Bury involves establishing a Permit to Work system for communal areas and collaborating with various teams to enhance health and safety processes. Key Responsibilities:
- Setting up Permit to Work system for communal areas.
- Collaborating with Asbestos and Fire leads to design process maps with Repairs and Capital Works Teams.
- Designing and producing a plan to bring CDM in-house in collaboration with the Capital Works Team.
- Setting up a third-party audit regime for the EICR programme.
- Transitioning the third-party audit contract for Gas from the Gas Team to the H&S team.
- Working through previous H&S audit recommendations with Repairs Managers to ensure implementation, including delivery of Toolbox Talks.
Key Skills:
- Experience in health and safety management.
- Knowledge of Permit to Work systems.
- Familiarity with CDM regulations.
