Summary: The GW Policy Center Developer role involves system development, technical design, testing, and implementation within a Guidewire environment. The position requires collaboration with business stakeholders to capture requirements and support user acceptance testing. The developer will also provide technical support for important projects and ensure the integration of new programs and documentation. Proficiency in English and a university degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience are essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Write, improve, and test programs based on functional or technical detailed analysis.
- Perform integration, regression tests, and performance tests to verify consistency and interaction with other application components.
- Translate functional analysis into a technical analysis to create a framework for system realization.
- Discuss with business stakeholders to capture requirements and translate them into IT specifications.
- Support the IT team in executing IT Testing (System Testing and IT E2E Testing).
- Assist in developing an acceptance test environment and support users in performing their tests.
- Critically analyze test results and defects, making necessary adjustments.
- Implement and follow up on new programs, parameterization, and documentation.
- Provide technical support in the implementation of important projects.
Key Skills:
- Very good knowledge of English; French or Dutch knowledge is an asset.
- University degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- Experience in preparing technical analysis (preferably UML).
- High proven experience with development in a Guidewire environment.
- ACE certified in Policy Center.
- High proven experience in Policy Center configuration/integration.
- Knowledge of test methodology.
- Knowledge of JavaScript and ReactJS.
- Experience with Jira, Agile, and scrum methodology.
- Experience in the Insurance sector, preferably in "Billing and Accounting".

- System Development
