Summary: The Guidewire Technical Architect role involves leading implementation, upgrade, and support projects with a focus on Guidewire's InsuranceSuite, including both on-premises and Cloud/SaaS versions. The position requires extensive client coordination and deep expertise in the Property and Casualty insurance industry, particularly in personal and commercial lines. Candidates must possess significant experience with Guidewire products and configurations, as well as strong communication and project management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead implementation, upgrade, and support projects for Guidewire InsuranceSuite.
  • Coordinate with clients and provide deep functional expertise in the insurance industry.
  • Utilize strong functional understanding of Guidewire products, including policy, claim, and billing life cycles.
  • Configure Guidewire xCenters and manage customization and integration using REST and SOAP APIs.
  • Conduct data analysis and write SQL queries for data insights.
  • Manage project aspects including defect triaging, estimation, and stakeholder management.
  • Lead teams and contribute to project proposals and RFPs.

Key Skills:

  • Proficient in English language.
  • Strong experience in Property and Casualty insurance domain.
  • Guidewire Certified Resource, preferably ACE across modules.
  • Hands-on experience with Guidewire xCenters configuration and customization.
  • Knowledge of batch processes, Guidewire Messaging framework, and OOTB plugins.
  • Familiarity with infrastructure concepts and deployment architecture.
  • Ability to write SQL queries for data analysis.
  • Experience with Git repository and ServiceNow is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills and adaptability in client environments.

• Aptitude to work in Implementation, Upgrade and support project with a strong niche skill of Guidewire ( Policy, Billing & ClaimCenter and Guidewire InsuranceSuite) including on-prem and Cloud/SaaS version.

• Role requires client co-ordination and deep functional or insurance (P&C) industry expertise especially on Personal and/or commercial lines.

  • Domain Expertise:
    • Good experience in Property and Casualty insurance domain
  • Guidewire Skills:
    • Strong functional understanding of Guidewire Insurance Product Suite (On-Prem and Cloud)
    • Guidewire Certified Resource – preferably ACE across modules
    • Experience with policy, claim, and billing life cycles and transactions in Guidewire
  • Configuration Expertise: Hands-on experience with Guidewire xCenters (version 10.x & cloud/SaaS) configuration including:
