Key Responsibilities:

  • Work on implementation, upgrade, and support projects with Guidewire (Policy, Billing & ClaimCenter and Guidewire InsuranceSuite).
  • Coordinate with clients and leverage deep functional expertise in the insurance (P&C) industry.
  • Utilize strong functional understanding of Guidewire Insurance Product Suite (On-Prem and Cloud).
  • Configure Guidewire xCenters (version 10.x & cloud/SaaS) including workflows, data models, and rules.
  • Customize and integrate Guidewire xCenters using REST and SOAP APIs.
  • Write SQL queries for data analysis.
  • Manage project implementation AMS programs and lead teams while managing client stakeholders.
  • Contribute to RFP/project proposals.

Key Skills:

  • 14+ years of total experience, with 8+ years in Guidewire.
  • Domain expertise in Property and Casualty insurance.
  • Guidewire Certified Resource – preferably ACE across modules.
  • Hands-on experience with Guidewire xCenters configuration.
  • Strong knowledge of software architecture and design in the Guidewire ecosystem.
  • Experience with batch processes and Guidewire Messaging framework.
  • Familiarity with Infra concepts and deployment architecture.
  • Excellent communication skills and adaptability in client environments.

Pay Rate: £400 per day through FCSA Umbrella

Job description:

  • Aptitude to work in Implementation, Upgrade and support project with a strong niche skill of Guidewire (Policy, Billing & ClaimCenter and Guidewire InsuranceSuite) including on-prem and Cloud/SaaS version.
  • Role requires client co-ordination and deep functional or insurance (P&C) industry expertise especially on Personal and/or commercial lines.

Must have Skills:

  • Domain Expertise:
    • good experience in Property and Casualty insurance domain
  • Guidewire Skills:
    • Strong functional understanding of Guidewire Insurance Product Suite (On-Prem and Cloud)
    • Guidewire Certified Resource – preferably ACE across modules
    • Experience with policy, claim, and billing life cycles and transactions in Guidewire
  • Configuration Expertise:
    • Hands-on experience with Guidewire xCenters (version 10.x & cloud/SaaS) configuration including:
      • Workflows
      • Data Model
      • Rules
      • Entity Creation/Modification
      • Benefit Management
      • PCFs customization
      • Validations
      • Widgets and their attributes
      • Integration Mechanisms
      • Guidewire Data Model
  • Customization & Integration:
    • Sound knowledge of Guidewire xCenters (version 10.x & SaaS) customization and integration (Intra and Inter system integration) using REST and SOAP APIs
  • Technical Skills:

    • Familiarity with Infra concepts and deployment architecture (WMB, WAS, and Apache)

  • GW Cloud/SaaS Offerings:
    • Working Knowledge on GW Cloud/SaaS Offerings including GT Framework, Integration Gateway, Advance Product Designer (APD), Autopilot, Underwriting Workbench and few others
  • Project Management:
    • Working experience in implementation AMS programs
    • Experience with defect triaging, estimation, stakeholder management, and application enhancements.
    • Ability to lead Team and manage client stakeholders

  • Version Control & Ticketing Systems:
    • Experience with Git repository and ServiceNow
  • Additional Experience:
