Summary: The Guidewire ClaimCenter Developer role involves leading the development and customization of the Guidewire ClaimCenter application, utilizing Gosu and Java. The position requires collaboration with various teams to gather requirements, mentor junior developers, and ensure optimal performance of applications. The developer will also participate in Agile ceremonies and provide production support as necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and customization of Guidewire ClaimCenter application using Gosu and Java.
- Architect and implement integrations with external systems using SOAP/REST APIs.
- Collaborate with business analysts, QA teams, and stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
- Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews to ensure best practices.
- Optimize performance and scalability of Guidewire applications.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and estimations.
- Troubleshoot complex issues and provide production support as needed.
- Maintain technical documentation and ensure compliance with coding standards.
Key Skills:
- 6+ years of hands-on experience with Guidewire ClaimCenter.
- Guidewire Associated/Specialist Certified.
- Strong proficiency in Gosu, Java, and web services (SOAP/REST).
- Experience with Guidewire Studio, Messaging, Data Model, Rules, and Workflows.
- Familiarity with Guidewire DataHub and InfoCenter is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
