Summary: The Senior Consultant – Guidewire Claim Center Developer role in London requires a seasoned professional with extensive experience in Guidewire Claim Center and a strong background in Property & Casualty insurance. The position involves leading support teams across various geographies while ensuring the effective implementation and management of Guidewire systems. The candidate will also be responsible for client coordination and continuous improvement initiatives. This hybrid role offers a contract duration of 6 months with potential for extension or full-time conversion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work on implementation, upgrade, and support projects for Guidewire xCenters (on-prem, GWCP, and private cloud; v10.x and cloud versions).
- Lead and manage L2/L3/L4 support teams across the UK, US, and India.
- Ensure near 24/7 availability of production and non-production environments, exceeding SLAs.
- Handle production defects effectively, reduce defect inflow, and maintain healthy issue trends.
- Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to identify systemic issues and define preventive actions.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to control and eliminate recurring defects.
- Enhance application logging standards across Guidewire services to improve MTTR via proactive alerting and anomaly detection.
- Manage centralized monitoring and observability dashboards for real-time system health.
- Coordinate closely with client stakeholders, providing strong functional and technical leadership.
- Manage expectations, estimations, defect triage, and application enhancements.
- Lead teams effectively across multiple time zones.

- Total Guidewire experience: 8+ years.

- Guidewire Certified Developer (ACE preferred).
