Summary: The Guidewire Business Analyst role involves supporting a major insurance transformation programme for a leading Insuretech client. The position requires collaboration with international teams to deliver solutions across Guidewire platforms, focusing on gathering and analyzing business requirements. The role emphasizes stakeholder engagement and end-to-end delivery throughout the project lifecycle. Candidates should possess strong experience in insurance environments and Guidewire systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather, analyse, and document business and functional requirements for Guidewire implementations and enhancements
- Act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring clear and accurate delivery
- Work closely with teams across Underwriting, Claims, and Policy Administration
- Translate requirements into user stories, functional specifications, and process flows
- Support end-to-end delivery across the full lifecycle (analysis, design, testing, deployment)
- Facilitate workshops, stakeholder sessions, and requirements validation meetings
- Support UAT activities, including test case definition, execution, and defect resolution
- Ensure alignment with Guidewire best practices and project governance
- Contribute to integration, data migration, and system configuration discussions
Key Skills:
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst within insurance / InsurTech environments
- Strong hands-on experience with Guidewire (PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, or BillingCenter)
- Solid understanding of insurance processes (policy lifecycle, claims, underwriting)
- Experience working within Agile / Scrum delivery environments
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience working across multi-country / international programmes
- Experience with Guidewire Cloud
- Exposure to data migration, APIs, and system integrations
- Certifications in Guidewire or Business Analysis

This role offers the opportunity to work across international teams, delivering high-impact solutions across Guidewire platforms, with flexibility to work across wider EU locations.
