The role requires expertise in Guidewire Insurance Suite and involves analyzing existing systems, designing solutions, and collaborating with clients. The position is based in London and initially requires five days onsite. The contract duration is 12 months and extendable, with the role classified as inside IR35.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyse existing Guidewire systems to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
  • Define and recommend solutions for building systems that operate efficiently across multiple countries.
  • Design and implement single-instance or multiple-instance Guidewire systems based on client requirements.
  • Collaborate with business analysts and clients to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Ensure the scalability, reliability, and performance of Guidewire systems.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to development teams throughout the project life cycle.
  • Conduct system testing and validation to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Stay updated with the latest Guidewire technologies and industry trends.

Key Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Guidewire Technical Expert or similar role.
  • In-depth knowledge of Guidewire Insurance Suite (Policy center, Billing center, Claim center).
  • Strong understanding of system architecture and design principles.
  • Experience with multi-country system implementations.
  • Proficiency in Java, GOSU, and other relevant programming languages.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
