Summary: The Group Scrum Master role involves guiding and coaching team members in Agile methodologies, ensuring effective Scrum practices, and facilitating collaboration among stakeholders. The position requires a focus on delivering high-value product increments while managing obstacles and maintaining clear communication across teams. This is a maternity cover position with a hybrid working arrangement. The role is classified as inside IR35.

Key Responsibilities:

• Guiding and coaching team members in self-management and cross-functionality; emphasizing the importance of communication.
• Helping Scrum Team focus on creating high-value product increments that meet the Definition of Done and managing obstacle board reviews.
• Ensuring that all Scrum events take place positively, productively, and within the timebox.
• Helping stakeholders understand and enact an empirical approach for complex work.
• Evolving new ways to bridge between business tools & processes and Agile ways of working.
• Ensuring sync between product groups and vehicle groups for any activity.
• Governing effective Product Goal definition and Product Backlog management.
• Managing group Product Backlog and ensuring clear and concise Product Backlog items linked to stories/features/capabilities.
• Facilitating stakeholder collaboration where necessary.
• Preparation of vehicle team QBR memo in conjunction with SPM, Prog Chief, and PGLs.

Key Skills:

• Experience as a Group Scrum Master and servant leader for the Agile Release Train (ART).
• Ability to facilitate ART events and processes and assist teams in delivering value.
• Strong communication skills with stakeholders and ability to escalate impediments.
• Experience in managing risk and driving continuous improvement.
• Guidance on introspection to improve agile ways of working.
• Experience with JIRA for representing impediments to Programme/Vehicle Teams.
