Summary: The Group Scrum Master role is a pivotal position within a leading automotive company, focusing on guiding teams towards self-management and high-value product increments. This position emphasizes the importance of Agile methodologies and stakeholder communication to drive continuous improvement and project success. The role offers a hybrid working model, allowing for both in-office collaboration and remote work. Candidates should possess a strong background in Agile environments, particularly within the automotive or related industries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guide and coach team members towards achieving self-management and cross-functionality, ensuring high-value product increments.
  • Facilitate all Scrum events, ensuring they are positive, productive, and within the allocated time.
  • Communicate with stakeholders, manage risks, and drive continuous improvement within the Agile Release Train.
  • Represent and escalate impediments to Programme/Vehicle Teams, supporting with obstacle resolution.
  • Assist in the preparation and refinement of the Product Backlog, ensuring clear and concise items linked to stories/features/capabilities.
  • Govern effective Product Goal definition and manage the group Product Backlog, facilitating stakeholder collaboration as necessary.

Key Skills:

  • Proven experience as a Scrum Master or similar role within an Agile environment, ideally in the automotive or related industries.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to facilitate, coach, and mentor teams towards achieving their objectives.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with a knack for navigating complex project landscapes.
  • A deep understanding of Agile methodologies, with a focus on continuous improvement and delivery of value.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to excellence.

Salary (Rate): £50.47
