Summary: The Group SAP Systems Support Officer at PA Media is responsible for ensuring the stability and continuous improvement of core SAP systems across the business. This role involves providing SAP-related support to various departments, including Finance, HR, Procurement, and IT, while focusing on problem-solving and process enhancement. Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the first point of contact for SAP support tickets, ensuring issues are resolved efficiently or escalated appropriately.
- Support the smooth day-to-day operation of SAP systems through effective triage, troubleshooting, and user support.
- Review existing processes, identify inefficiencies, and help implement improvements to optimise system usage and user experience.
- Assist with the planning, testing, and deployment of SAP upgrades, enhancements, and development initiatives.
- Manage ERP user access, roles, and permissions, ensuring compliance with internal controls and governance requirements.
- Maintain clear, up-to-date system documentation and contribute to training materials and user guidance.
- Work closely with Finance, HR, Procurement, IT and external partners to ensure SAP systems align with business needs and priorities.

About the role
We’re looking for a Group SAP Systems Support Officer to play a vital role in ensuring the stability, effectiveness, and continuous improvement of our core SAP systems across the business. Working within Group Finance, you’ll be a key point of contact for SAP-related support, helping colleagues across Finance, HR, Procurement and IT to get the most from systems including SAP SuccessFactors, S/4HANA (Finance), and Concur. This is a hands-on, service-focused role for someone who enjoys problem-solving, improving processes, and working collaboratively to ensure systems run smoothly and efficiently. You’ll combine technical understanding with strong communication skills, supporting day-to-day operations while contributing to system enhancements and upgrades.
