Summary: The Group Reporting Systems Analyst role is a 6-month fixed-term contract based in Woking, focused on ensuring the effective operation of the Group Finance SAP BPC group consolidation reporting systems. The position involves managing the SAP BPC system, performing SOX controls, and supporting reporting improvements for the finance community. The analyst will also collaborate with Group IT and third-party suppliers on system-related matters and provide training to end users. Strong knowledge of SAP BPC and AFO-EPM is essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the operation of the Group Finance SAP BPC group consolidation reporting systems.
- Perform BPC related SOX controls.
- Develop systems and reports/input forms as required.
- Ensure training material and documentation are up to date.
- Deliver end user training.
- Support the finance community on finance systems functionality.
- Work with Group IT and third-party suppliers on IT-related matters.
- Set up and manage reporting cycles using BPFs.
- Revise and enhance BPFs as required.
- Manage BPC security for authorized user access.
- Analyze internal business processes and improve efficiency.
- Assist in the implementation of new upgrades and system changes.
- Aid in the design, testing, and rollout of related systems.
- Maintain and enhance existing Excel AFO-EPM reports and input forms.
- Troubleshoot system and reporting issues.
- Manage BPC master data including the chart of accounts.
- Document finance system process guidelines.
- Provide ad hoc business and project support.
- Test new systems and provide design input.
Key Skills:
- 2+ years of experience with accounting/finance systems.
- Hands-on experience in implementing BPC or managing BPC as an in-house super user.
- AFO-EPM reporting skills for developing new reports/input forms.
- BPC dimension maintenance and BPF configuration/deployment.
- Strong Excel skills (VBA useful).
- Working knowledge of financial statements and IFRS accounting practices.
- Basic understanding of financial and accounting concepts.
- Excellent communication skills (written, spoken, presentation).
