Summary: The Group Reporting Manager role is a temp-to-perm position within a global, PE-backed technology business, focusing on building out the group reporting function. The successful candidate will be responsible for financial reporting, consolidation, and compliance, while also supporting finance projects and transformation initiatives. This role presents a unique opportunity to influence the finance structure of a high-growth organization. Candidates should possess strong qualifications and experience in financial reporting and consolidation accounting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver monthly and quarterly consolidated reports for the Board and external stakeholders.
- Prepare interim and year-end financial statements under IFRS.
- Manage UK statutory accounts and coordinate audits across multiple entities.
- Lead group-wide consolidation via OneStream, ensuring compliance with deadlines and policies.
- Review consolidated balance sheets, cash flows, and key accounting entries (e.g. IFRS 16, intercompany, goodwill, CTA).
- Manage internal and external audit processes, including liaising with audit committees.
- Ensure adherence to IFRS and internal accounting policies.
- Oversee internal control processes across UK and international entities.
- Conduct analytical reviews and reconciliations of group results.
- Support M&A activity, restructuring, and other strategic initiatives.
- Contribute to the ongoing development of the OneStream consolidation system.
- Identify and lead improvements in group finance processes and reporting quality.
Key Skills:
- ACA or equivalent qualified with strong post-qualification experience.
- Solid understanding of IFRS and consolidation accounting.
- Experience with OneStream or similar consolidation tools (e.g. Hyperion, SAP BPC).
- Strong audit background, ideally from a large practice or complex group environment.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Highly organised, proactive, and solutions driven.
- Detail-oriented with a continuous improvement mindset.
- Strong sense of ownership and accountability.
