Summary: The Group Reporting Accountant will be responsible for delivering accurate and timely group financial reporting within a fast-growing fashion retail business. Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, this role offers significant exposure to senior stakeholders and the chance to influence financial processes. The position is hybrid, requiring three days in the London office. The successful candidate will have a strong background in accounting, particularly in IFRS, and experience in group reporting or audit.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly consolidated group financial statements
- Lead the group month-end close process and ensure deadlines are met
- Assist with the preparation of annual reports and statutory accounts
- Ensure compliance with IFRS and relevant accounting standards
- Manage intercompany reconciliations and group adjustments
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes
- Partner with international finance teams to ensure consistency in reporting
- Drive improvements in reporting systems and processes
Key Skills:
- ACA / ACCA
- Strong technical accounting knowledge, particularly IFRS
- Previous experience in group reporting or audit (ideally within retail or consumer sectors)
- Advanced Excel skills: experience with reporting systems is advantageous
- Excellent attention to detail with a proactive and organised approach
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with senior stakeholders

The Role
