Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Needs Assessments with stakeholders to review procurement requests.
  • Research and identify appropriate suppliers; evaluate suppliers, products, and services.
  • Lead pre-qualification processes and manage RFPs; present findings to internal stakeholders.
  • Negotiate contracts with suppliers in line with procurement principles.
  • Onboard suppliers and conduct KYC checks.
  • Engage Legal for contract review and ensure contract sign-off by authorized approvers.
  • Monitor supplier performance against KPIs.
  • Maintain an approved directory of key suppliers and manage supplier lists.
  • Track contract renewal dates and ensure timely reviews and renewals.
  • Identify process improvements in procurement across the group.
  • Collaborate with Finance and Operations to harmonize supplier contracts for acquisitions.
  • Provide ad-hoc support to Finance, Legal, and Operations as needed.

About Group Procurement Executive - 12 months FTC K3 Capital Group is a Private Equity owned Advisory and Professional Services organisation that provides a wide range of solutions to SME and Mid-market Corporate clients. The group consists of 20 businesses and has offices across the UK and in several International territories. The group is dynamic in nature and growing continually both organically and through acquisition.

Main Job Purpose K3's procurement policy establishes a structured framework for sourcing goods and services at K3 Capital Group Limited, its wider corporate Group and group and its subsidiary companies ( K3 ). It aims to ensure that procurement practices are consistent, efficient, ethical, and aligned with the firm's strategic objectives while promoting sustainability and social responsibility. The Group Procurement Executive will have responsibility for implementing and maintaining the Group's procurement policy and supply chain in respect of qualifying contracts. Joining the Group on a 12 month Fixed Term Contract, this role involves close coordination with and working under the direction of the Finance, Operations, and Legal teams on policy implementation, supplier management, and contractual compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Working closely with and under the direction of Group Operations Director, Group General Counsel and Financial Controller:
  • Needs Assessments Conduct Needs Assessments along with other key stakeholders to review new procurement requests submitted by internal stakeholders.
  • Supplier Identification and Evaluation Research and identify appropriate suppliers; Evaluate prospective suppliers, products and services in line with Group procurement standards and needs assessment.
  • Tender/RFP process Leading pre-qualification processes and where applicable, management of any RFPs; Collating information and presenting a summary of findings/risks to applicable internal stakeholders for input and comment; Final proposal to be submitted to relevant decision makers for approval, which varies by contract.
  • Contract negotiation Working with Group Operations to negotiate contracts, identifying the most appropriate solution for the Group in line with its procurement principles.
  • Supplier onboarding On boarding of suppliers; Conducting and maintaining KYC on suppliers.
  • Contract review and execution Engaging Legal on contract review; Contract sign off by authorised approver.
  • Performance monitoring of suppliers against KPIs.
  • Supplier management and list management Maintaining an approved directory of key Group preferred suppliers and blacklisted suppliers; Consolidation of suppliers for services delivered across the group.
  • Contract Renewal Tracking contract renewal dates Ensuring contracts are reviewed and renewed, where applicable, in good time ahead of termination.
  • Additional Areas Working with Department Leads to identify process improvements where necessary to manage the overall direction and evaluation of procurement across the K3 Capital group of companies.
  • In collaboration with Group Finance and Group Operations, identifying and harmonising supplier contracts for any business acquisitions Providing ad-hoc support to Group Finance and Group Legal & Group Operations where appropriate.
