Summary: The Group Marketing Manager will lead a team of five within the in-house Marketing team, focusing on shaping the company's marketing and communication strategy during a 12-month maternity cover contract. Reporting to the Commercial Director, the role involves driving productivity, sales, and revenue across departments while managing various marketing campaigns. The position requires a hands-on approach to support the team during peak periods and ensure compliance with marketing standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership and communication skills, along with a proactive and enthusiastic attitude.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage, motivate and lead a team of five marketing support staff.
- Utilize management tools such as Jira and Range for planning and organizing workflows.
- Create team and individual targets to achieve overall marketing KPIs.
- Plan, develop, implement, and measure B2C and B2B marketing campaigns.
- Produce acquisition and retention strategies.
- Develop quarterly campaigns aligned with manufacturer brand strategies.
- Deliver and measure results against KPIs.
- Maintain and adhere to the marketing budget.
- Collaborate with diverse staff to manage integrated marketing campaigns.
- Build relationships with external partners, sponsors, charities, and suppliers.
- Negotiate with media providers for effective marketing communication strategies.
- Manage efficiencies with external agencies, including Google Advertising.
- Ensure compliance with manufacturer franchise standards and legislative standards.
- Produce result-driven reports and analyze successes for future campaigns.
- Support the team with marketing operations during high-pressure periods.
Key Skills:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Marketing Management, preferably in-house.
- Experience in People Management for at least 5 years.
- Strong communication, time management, and planning skills.
- Self-starter with enthusiasm and motivation for impactful marketing strategies.
- Positive and upbeat approach to motivate others.
- Hands-on experience with website updates, design, graphics, email creation, and copywriting.
