Summary: The Group Management Accountant role is a 6-month fixed-term contract focused on delivering group management reporting for a large retail business in Central London. Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation and consolidation of monthly management accounts across the Group
- Lead the group budgeting and forecasting process, including variance analysis and performance commentary
- Develop and enhance reporting packs, KPIs, and dashboards for senior leadership
- Drive continuous improvement in reporting processes, systems, and controls
Key Skills:
- ACA / CA qualified accountant with 1-3 years post-qualified experience (practice-trained preferred)
- Practical in management accounting at group level
- Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Excellent understanding of IFRS / UK GAAP and group reporting requirements
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, financial modelling)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
- Confident communicator, capable of engaging with senior stakeholders
- Ability to manage competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment
