Group Financial Controller

This is a 12-18 month interim controller role leading finance operations, as well as driving key projects. You'll ensure robust financial reporting and compliance. Description You'll lead the day-to-day finance operations for one of the group's key businesses, working closely with a strong leadership team and overseeing a team of Finance and Processing functions, ensuring robust financial reporting and compliance across all areas Oversee monthly financial close and ensure accurate consolidated balance sheets and management accounts. Review balance sheet reconciliations and ensure compliance with valuation processes. Harmonise accounting policies across the business and align with group standards. Manage inter-company consolidation and annual audit processes. Ensure compliance across all business taxes Oversee payroll and transactional processing functions. Lead transition of key processing functions to the group's central finance team. Drive business improvement projects, including system integration. Profile Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with strong technical and leadership experience. Proven ability to manage finance teams Experience in transformation projects and systems integration desirable. Strong technical skills Knowledge of regulatory and compliance standards. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
