Group Financial Accountant

A large, well-established UK organisation is seeking an experienced Group Financial Accountant to join its External Reporting team on an interim basis. You will be central to the delivery of high-quality statutory reporting and the shaping of technical accounting guidance across the wider Group. As an Interim Group Financial Accountant, you will be: Leading the preparation of Group consolidated financial statements for the half-year and year-end cycle Overseeing the production of subsidiary and regulated entity financial statements Maintaining and developing Group accounting policies Building strong working relationships with senior leaders, functional teams and external auditors Co-ordinating the external audit process as the main point of contact Identifying opportunities to improve reporting processes across the Group Requirements: ACA qualified or equivalent Strong technical knowledge of IFRS Experience managing audits end-to-end Experience from a Big 4 accounting firm is highly beneficial A background working within a blue-chip organisation is also desirable Apply ASAP to be considered for this Interim Group Financial Accountant role We are happy to provide application and/or accessibility support, please contact your Marks Sattin or Grafton consultant directly to discuss your needs.
