Summary: This role is for a Group Financial Accountant on a 12-month maternity cover in Warwickshire, offering a salary between £40,000 and £50,000 plus benefits. The position involves delivering accurate financial reporting, supporting group consolidation, and assisting with statutory reporting. Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting with group consolidation during the month-end process
- Supporting the preparation of Board reports, including KPI analysis
- Preparing month-end reports and management accounts
- Completing reconciliations for debtors, creditors, bank accounts, and intercompany balances
- Providing financial insights to help guide business decisions
- Contributing to the annual external audit process
- Assisting with statutory financial reporting requirements
- Preparing and submitting quarterly VAT returns
- Responding to queries from internal teams and external stakeholders
- Completing business surveys as required
- Taking on ad hoc tasks to support the wider finance team
