Summary: The role of Interim Group Financial Accountant involves driving financial excellence across multiple entities within a fast-growing organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for consolidating financial reporting, enhancing controls, and supporting strategic decision-making. Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and deliver accurate consolidated group financial statements.
- Lead month-end and year-end close processes across subsidiaries.
- Ensure compliance with IFRS/UK GAAP and internal policies.
- Liaise with external auditors and manage audit processes.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Drive improvements in financial systems and reporting tools.
Key Skills:
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified (or equivalent).
- Proven experience in group accounting, ideally in a multi-entity environment.
- Strong technical accounting knowledge.
- Excellent Excel and financial systems skills (eg, SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and a confident communicator.
