Summary: The role of Group Accountant involves a long-term contract with a prominent business, requiring an experienced finance professional to deliver results in a dynamic environment. The position spans 18 to 24 months and includes responsibilities such as producing reconciled accounts, supporting finance projects, and coordinating with auditors. Key Responsibilities:

  • Produce reconciled monthly and year-end accounts.
  • Support with central finance tasks/projects such as vehicle leasing, utilities, and Capex analysis.
  • Provide strong technical accounting input in terms of IFRS and FRS102.
  • Assist with quarterly external IFRS SAP reporting.
  • Support and develop reporting systems for local management.
  • Streamline and standardise reporting processes.
  • Coordinate with internal and external auditors.
  • Assist with the preparation of annual statutory accounts.

Key Skills:

  • Experience in finance and accounting.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS and FRS102.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a changing environment.
  • Proficiency in producing financial reports and reconciliations.
  • Experience with SAP and reporting systems.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills.

Salary (Rate): 65000
