We are hiring a team to grow this new operation. ABOUT THE ROLEWe have an exciting maternity cover opportunity for a Graphic & Print Designer to join our Fashion Division team in our London Office. The cover position will be required for 6 months.We are looking for a confident and assertive individual that can adapt quickly, with excellent design skills, interpersonal and planning skills as you will be responsible for building strong seasonal brand concepts that will excite our brand and retail partners. In addition to your own design responsibilities you will manage external freelance designers and should be a proactive, organised and self-motivated individual with a proven track record in similar role. Key Skills Preferred multi-disciplinary graphic design background with ability to adapt and develop graphics for fashion licensed products (placement graphics, all over prints), product mock up ability and presentation/pitch deck design skills. Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop (and some experience in InDesign) is imperative; with ability to create and modify graphic placement prints, patterns and branding elements for apparel and accessories Excellent organisation skills with ability to follow and maintain critical paths, and control creative resource output within budget Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly and effectively communicate at all levels and coordinate design works internally and externally, providing clarity and ensuring deadlines are achieved Commercial product acumen with an acute sense of product concept and styling to create on-brand, cohesive ranges for multiple target markets; presenting inspirational ranges in style guides to direct and influence our partners Microsoft Office skills also required Min 5 years experience Core Responsibilities Brief and liaise with a team of freelance graphic designers to deliver seasonal style guides within the agreed timescales Manage and prioritise core design workload alongside additional ad-hoc client design briefs Undertake ad-hoc design briefs, delivering complete artwork and range board product concept visualisation packs Plan and manage freelance resource deliverables within agreed budget Direct and coach external freelance designers to understand and follow the brand strategy Deliver market trend forecasting and competition analysis; Optimise design tools (ie. WGSN) to contribute key insights that can be commercially optimised Create and prepare market and brand relevant trend reports/concepts for our exclusive partners, prepare mood boards including shape and style direction Monitor legal checks on imagery sources, design copyrights and editorial used in design works internally and externally with the legal team Anything else that is required to effectively manage the role and support the team and partners, including ad-hoc design tasks and fixes, research projects and liaising with the other categories on specific company-wide projects.
