Summary: The Grants Officer role involves supporting two key initiatives within the Church of England: the Buildings for Mission team and the Net Zero Carbon Programme. Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Grants Manager with the operation and oversight of grant schemes.
  • Provide knowledgeable and responsive service to dioceses as the first point of contact for grant schemes.
  • Handle general enquiries and pre-application engagement, assessing expressions of interest from prospective applicants.
  • Manage a caseload of live grants.

Key Skills:

  • Knowledge/experience of historic and/or natural environment conservation or heritage management, or experience in the environment or sustainability sector.
  • Good written and spoken communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and demonstrate good analytical skills.
