About The Opportunity We’re looking for a Graduate Geo-technical / Geo-environmental Consultant to join our highly successful Geo team in our Southampton office as part of our 2026 Graduate Programme. You’ll contribute to sustainable projects across sectors including renewable energy, defence, commercial, and residential, with a balanced mix of on-site and consultancy-based work. Our geo team collaborates closely with other disciplines across Stantec to support clients through planning and construction. You’ll gain experience scoping site investigations, interpreting field data, producing interpretative reports, and providing construction phase support. As a Stantec graduate, you will develop your expertise in an interdisciplinary environment with strong support from your team, technical colleagues, and senior staff within our open, collaborative culture.

Your Role Design and manage site investigations, including on-site supervision, logging, and sampling. Prepare factual and interpretative reports. Undertake qualitative and quantitative risk assessments. Work as part of integrated project teams alongside geo-environmental and geotechnical specialists. Develop an understanding of related disciplines such as civil, structural, transport, air quality, acoustics, and flood risk.

About You We value your potential over past experience. You will ideally have a degree and/or master’s in a relevant subject (e.g., geology, civil engineering, environmental science) and a keen interest in our industry. Work Pattern We ask graduates to attend the office a minimum of four days per week to ensure you receive sufficient time with your team and the appropriate level of support.
