Summary: The Graduate Engineer role based in Cardiff involves converting customer enquiries into technical drawings and quotations for RMDK equipment. Key Responsibilities:
- Convert enquiries from customers and the Sales Team into drawings and quotations for RMDK equipment.
- Work under the guidance of the Engineering Manager and senior staff in conjunction with the Sales Team.
- Seek assistance from other Engineering Staff for product calculations and applications as needed.
- Support customer orders through the production of final drawings, cost estimates, and progress paperwork.
- Ensure compliance with RMDK BSEN ISO Procedures and Quality Assurance Procedures.
- Proactively address RMDK Health and Safety issues.
- Engage in continuous learning in RMDK and Civil Engineering methodology.

MAIN PURPOSE We are looking for a graduate engineer - for our Cardiff office.The ideal candidate should have graduated from a civil engineering degree, with good maths skills. We can teach everything else! This role will be office based Monday to Friday. The candidate will convert enquiries into innovative efficient solutions, which best combine the commercial and technical aspects in order to achieve profitable revenue. To contribute to the growth and profitability of the RMDK Group by fulfilling their role within the business.
RESPONSIBILITIES To convert enquiries from customers and the Sales Team into drawings and quotations for the supply of RMDK equipment on a hire and sale basis. To work under the control, instruction and guidance of the Engineering Manager and other senior staff and in conjunction with the Sales Team. ? To seek assistance from other Engineering Staff in RMDK product calculations and applications when required. To support orders received from customers through production of final drawings, cost estimates, progress paperwork, and agreement of variations, all through the Sales Team and as required for each project. To carry out work in accordance with RMDK BSEN ISO Procedures and RMDK Quality Assurance Procedures. To have a proactive responsibility for RMDK Health and Safety issues. To enter into a continuous learning process in RMDK and Civil Engineering methodology and to work towards a level of experience determined by the Engineering Director.
