Summary: The Google Cloud Engineer role involves working within a dynamic team to deliver cloud infrastructure solutions for a financial services organization. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver cloud infrastructure solutions using Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and Ansible.
- Utilize CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and Git for automation.
- Monitor and log systems using Stackdriver, Prometheus, and Grafana.
- Collaborate with teams using Jira, Confluence, and Slack.
- Ensure cloud security and scalable architecture practices are followed.
Key Skills:
- Proven experience with Google Cloud Platform in production environments.
- Strong background in Terraform and Ansible for infrastructure automation.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices.
- Experience in consulting or financial services (preferred but not essential).
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Tech Stack & Tools
- Google Cloud Platform (GCP) – Compute Engine, Cloud Functions, IAM, VPC, Cloud Storage, BigQuery, etc.
- Infrastructure as Code: Terraform (IaC), Ansible
- CI/CD & DevOps: Jenkins, Git, GitHub Actions
- Monitoring & Logging: Stackdriver, Prometheus, Grafana (preferred)
- Project Management & Collaboration: Jira, Confluence, Slack
You’ll also be expected to bring a strong understanding of cloud security, automation, and scalable architecture.
