Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver cloud infrastructure solutions using Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and Ansible.
  • Utilize CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and Git for automation.
  • Monitor and log systems using Stackdriver, Prometheus, and Grafana.
  • Collaborate with teams using Jira, Confluence, and Slack.
  • Ensure cloud security and scalable architecture practices are followed.

Key Skills:

  • Proven experience with Google Cloud Platform in production environments.
  • Strong background in Terraform and Ansible for infrastructure automation.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices.
  • Experience in consulting or financial services (preferred but not essential).
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Comfortable working in agile teams.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Google Cloud Engineer, you’ll be embedded within a dynamic team delivering cloud infrastructure solutions for a financial services organisation. You’ll be expected to bring strong engineering practices, automation-first thinking, and a consulting mindset to help drive transformation.

Tech Stack & Tools

  • Google Cloud Platform (GCP) – Compute Engine, Cloud Functions, IAM, VPC, Cloud Storage, BigQuery, etc.
  • Infrastructure as Code: Terraform (IaC), Ansible
  • CI/CD & DevOps: Jenkins, Git, GitHub Actions
  • Monitoring & Logging: Stackdriver, Prometheus, Grafana (preferred)
  • Project Management & Collaboration: Jira, Confluence, Slack

You’ll also be expected to bring a strong understanding of cloud security, automation, and scalable architecture.

Ideal Candidate
