Summary: We are seeking a Google Platform Engineer with expertise in GCP DevOps, Jenkins, and Harness pipeline automation to lead a migration project for CI/CD pipelines. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automation, cloud-native technologies, and scalable infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform. This role is expected to last 3-6 months with a likelihood of extension. The position is hybrid/remote based in London.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the migration of CI/CD pipelines from Jenkins to Harness.
- Implement and manage CI/CD and DevOps tooling.
- Design and maintain infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform.
- Automate workflows using Terraform and Python.
- Integrate various tools and services within the GCP ecosystem.
Key Skills:
- Deep hands-on experience with Jenkins, including Shared Libraries, SonarQube & Nexus integration, Docker builds, and Google Artifact Registry integration.
- Strong knowledge of GCP, including GKE, VPC networking, and Virtual Data Centre architecture.
- Proficiency in Terraform for Infrastructure as Code and Python for scripting and automation.
- Exposure to Harness for CI/CD setup and troubleshooting.
- Experience with large-scale tooling migrations.

What You'll Bring:
CI/CD & DevOps Tooling
- Deep hands-on experience with Jenkins, including:
- Shared Libraries

Infrastructure & Cloud
- Strong knowledge of GCP:
- GKE, VPC networking, Firewall rules
- Virtual Data Centre (VDC) architecture
- Google Artifact Registry
Scripting & Automation
- Terraform: Comfortable with IaC for GCP infrastructure and CI/CD components
- Python: Proficient in Scripting and automation workflows
Bonus Skills:
- Exposure to Harness (CI/CD setup, delegate configuration, troubleshooting)
- Experience with large-scale tooling migrations
