Summary: We are seeking a Google Platform Engineer with expertise in GCP DevOps, Jenkins, and Harness pipeline automation to lead a migration project for CI/CD pipelines. The role requires strong skills in Terraform and Python, as well as experience with Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE). This position is hybrid/remote and is expected to last between 3 to 6 months with potential for long-term extension. Candidates should be passionate about automation and cloud-native technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the migration of CI/CD pipelines from Jenkins to Harness.
  • Implement and manage CI/CD tooling and automation processes.
  • Develop and maintain infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Utilize Terraform for infrastructure as code (IaC) and automation workflows.
  • Collaborate with teams to ensure scalable and efficient cloud-native solutions.

Key Skills:

  • Deep hands-on experience with Jenkins, including Shared Libraries, SonarQube & Nexus integration, Docker builds, and Google Artifact Registry integration.
  • Strong knowledge of GCP, including GKE, VPC networking, and Virtual Data Centre architecture.
  • Proficient in Terraform for GCP infrastructure and CI/CD components.
  • Strong scripting skills in Python for automation workflows.
  • Exposure to Harness for CI/CD setup and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with large-scale tooling migrations.

We're looking for an experienced Google Platform Engineer to lead a key migration project moving our CI/CD pipelines from Jenkins to Harness. If you're passionate about automation, cloud native technologies and building scalable infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), we'd love to hear from you.

What You'll Bring:

CI/CD & DevOps Tooling

  • Deep hands-on experience with Jenkins, including:
  • Shared Libraries
  • SonarQube & Nexus integration
  • Docker builds and image publishing
  • Google Artifact Registry (GAR) integration

Infrastructure & Cloud

  • Strong knowledge of GCP:
  • GKE, VPC networking, Firewall rules
  • Virtual Data Centre (VDC) architecture
  • Google Artifact Registry

Scripting & Automation

  • Terraform: Comfortable with IaC for GCP infrastructure and CI/CD components
  • Python: Proficient in Scripting and automation workflows

Bonus Skills:
