What you’ll be doing

In this role, you’ll work across modern cloud-native technologies, developing backend and full-stack solutions using Golang, Kubernetes, cloud platforms, APIs, microservices, and AI-enabled development practices.

You’ll have the opportunity to: Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Golang backend services, REST APIs, and microservices.

Build scalable and resilient cloud-native applications running on Kubernetes.

Work with Helm and modern container orchestration practices.

Develop solutions across Azure, AWS, and/or GCP.

Apply AI-enhanced software engineering techniques to improve development productivity, quality, and solution design.

Contribute to the design of secure, reliable, and observable distributed systems.

Collaborate with engineers, architects, product teams, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality technology solutions.

Work with modern DevOps, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, security, and reliability engineering practices.

What we’re looking for

4+ years of software development experience, ideally across backend or full-stack Golang development.

Strong experience developing REST APIs and microservices.

2+ years of Kubernetes experience, including Helm.

2+ years of experience working with one or more major cloud platforms: Azure, AWS, and/or GCP.

Solid skills in AI-enhanced software design and development.

Strong understanding of software engineering principles, clean code, testing, and maintainability.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

A collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively across engineering and technology teams.

  • Experience in any of the following would be highly valuable: HashiCorp products, particularly HashiCorp Vault and/or Terraform.
  • AI agent development, including technologies and concepts such as MCP (Model Context Protocol), A2A (Agent2Agent), and Vector Databases.
  • Distributed systems and resilience patterns, including: Retry patterns, Circuit breakers, Idempotency, Service discovery, API gateways, Fault tolerance and graceful degradation.
  • CI/CD technologies, such as Jenkins, GitLab, and GitHub Actions.
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Configuration as Code practices.
  • Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) and reliability engineering, including: Service Level Objectives (SLOs), Incident response, Observability engineering, Monitoring and alerting, Performance and resilience.
  • Cybersecurity and secure software development, including: Encryption at rest and in transit, Secrets management, CVE identification and remediation, Authentication and authorization, Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), Secure API and application design.
