Kirtana consulting is looking for GNME Functional Consultant (GE Smallworld) for 6months rolling contract in Reading.

Job description:

Role Title: GNME Functional Consultant (GE Smallworld)

Must Have Skills

• GE Small World
• GNME 5.3.x solutions

Nice to have skills

• Azure DevOps or Git
• Basic understanding of Scripting or configuration (eg Magik, SQL, or similar)

Responsibilities

• Engage with business stakeholders to gather, analyse, and document functional requirements
• Translate business needs into clear functional specifications and user stories for development teams
• Work closely with Developers to ensure requirements are understood and implemented correctly
• Support solution design, ensuring alignment with GNME capabilities and best practices
• Configure and validate GNME functionality (eg workflows, data capture processes, validation rules)
• Facilitate workshops, walkthroughs, and user acceptance testing (UAT)
• Support incident and problem management by analysing functional issues and identifying root causes
• Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to optimise business processes
• Produce and maintain documentation including process flows, configuration guides, and user manuals
