Key Responsibilities:

  • Track progress, dependencies, risks, and issues, ensuring timely escalation where required.
  • Maintain core programme data and ensure accuracy of inputs used for leadership reporting.

  • Coordinate with digital/IT teams to streamline data flows and reduce manual work.
  • Build and maintain the integrated programme plan.
  • Monitor key milestones, critical paths, and change requests.
  • Keep risk and issue logs updated; ensure actions are clearly owned and closed on time.
  • Help embed simple, consistent processes across teams.
  • Identify bottlenecks and propose improvements to speed up decision-making.
  • Promote good project management discipline (planning, documentation, governance cadence).

Key Skills:

  • Proven PMO or Programme Management experience, ideally on large or complex projects.
  • Strong organisational and planning skills, with attention to detail.
  • Comfortable working with data: maintaining programme records, checking data quality, and producing reports.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Familiarity with project management tools, templates, and standard practices.
  • Able to work independently, bring structure, and keep teams aligned.

Manpower are currently seeking an interim Global Transformation PMO, to work with our global FMCG client Unilever, renowned for brands such as Dove, Sure, Persil, and Simple, to become an integral part of their fast-paced FMCG environment. The position is based at Blackfriars on London’s Victoria Embankment, just a short walk from Blackfriars tube. This is a full-time temporary role to run for 12 months, requiring 36.25 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Compensation for this role is competitive, paying up to £52,500 per annum, pro rata, depending upon experience. The role currently offers a mix of remote and onsite working, subject to adjustment based on business requirements.

We are looking for an organised, proactive PMO professional to support a major global transformation programme within Home Care. The role supports the Global R&D Lead and works closely with strategy, portfolio, and cross-functional teams across regions and markets. The PMO will help ensure smooth programme governance, consistent data and reporting, and strong coordination across teams.
