Key Responsibilities:
- Drive drug or disease area development programs as a core member of molecule/disease area teams.
- Provide strategic program management to project teams, assessing options and identifying critical factors for project delivery.
- Build and maintain high-functioning project teams by addressing issues and encouraging open dialogues.
- Ensure teams deliver on short-, mid-, and long-term activities to achieve objectives.
- Contribute to portfolio management by maintaining key project information for decision-making.
- Maintain program and project management guidelines, standards, and tools.
Key Skills:

Talentmark is recruiting for a Global Program Manager to join a company in the pharmaceutical industry on a contract basis for 12 months.
Salary: Paying from £400-£450 per day Ltd co (outside IR35)
Global Program Manager role:
- Be a core member of molecule/disease area teams and drive drug or disease area development programs.
- Provide strategic program management to project teams, framing and assessing options, and identifying inflection points and critical factors for project delivery, decision-making and governance.
- Build and maintain highly functioning project teams by observing team dynamics, building trust, addressing issues, and encouraging open dialogues.
- Keep teams on track to deliver short-, mid-, and long-term activities to achieve team objectives and drive key program/project meetings & workshops, team communication, and documentation.
- Contribute to portfolio management by reporting and proactively maintaining key project information to support portfolio overview and decisions.
- Maintain program and project management guidelines, standards, and tools as required.
Your Background:
- Experience in leading drug development programs.
- Exposure to program management, project management, change management, business management methodologies, and approaches.
- Experience in global programs and projects, particularly related to drug development.
- Evidence of Strategic thinking and approach, able to set clear objectives and a roadmap for the team.
